Listed below are the finalists for the IHSPA Spring Journalism News Team of the Year award.

How Finalists Are Chosen

Points are awarded to schools and are tallied by enrollment size. The top five schools in each class are designated as News Team Finalists. Each school is invited to submit one issue from the fall, one issue from the spring, an editor’s choice and a link to their website for a final competition that is judged during the summer.

Winning Schools

Five schools will be honored at the fall conference as news team winners; one school is selected from each class, and two are selected at large. Each winning school will receive a banner.
